The Range of Ranch Jobs:
There are several tasks you can undertake at the ranch, all adding their own flavor to the rich tapestry of rural life in Apeville. These include:
Woodcutting: Grab an axe and head to the forest. Cut wood logs on the saw and receive $AVAC straight to your HUD for your efforts.
Harvesting & Milling: Use a scythe to cut wheat from the fields, mill it into flour at the mill, and turn it into fresh bread. This is a multi-step task with the end product earning you $AVAC when sold.
Foraging & Cooking: Forage for ingredients around the ranch and use them to make delicious Ranch Sauce at the Tri-Tip Tavern's kitchen. Each batch of sauce can be sold for $25 $AVAC.
Fence Building: Keep our livestock safe by maintaining and building fences around the ranch. This requires a Wood Mallet available from the General Store.
Cattle Care: Visit the cow shed and try your hand at milking the cows, or shovel up some cow dung. Both tasks offer direct $AVAC payments to your HUD.

To dive into ranch work, you'll need to chat with Elsie Jennings, the stalwart owner of the ranch. You can find her in the cozy Tri-Tip Tavern. Approach her and say "Ranch Jobs", she will guide you through the available tasks and how to start them. Some jobs require tools that can be purchased at the General Store, like the scythe for cutting fields, the Wood Mallet for building fences, or the shovel for handling the dung.
