There are a few things that you can build within Apeville, lets look at them now

Building in Apeville

We have designed a system to allow those who are taking part in Apeville to build things across the estate. These range from constructing Fences, or building houses. Here we will attempt to discover what is buildable, and more importantly, how you can begin building.

Fence Building

As part of Ranch Jobsin Apeville, Elsie Jennings may task you with constructing a Fence around the Ranch. The first thing you'll need to do is head to the General Store and aquire the Wood Mallet, which can be purchased for $25 AVAC.

You'll see the Wood Mallet on the Wall, next to the Sickle which you will also need for ploughing the Wheat Fields

Once you have purchased the Wood Mallet, head over to the Cow Shed and you will see a Red Pose-Ball on the ground with a prompt that reads "Sit here to begin building the Fence". Right-Click the Pose-Ball and then you will start constructing it. There are 21 pieces of the Fence in Total, and each one takes roughly 3 minutes to assemble. Please do note however, that once completed the Fence may then disappear entirely and reset itself in order to allow others to have a go at this opportunity.

With each piece of the Fence you construct, you'll move along the Fence automatically on the Pose-Ball. However, please do be warned that if you decide to stand up at any point then the Fence Building will come to an end, you'll have to start again :(

Building Houses

How to Build a House in Apeville

To begin with, you'll need to have purchased a plot of land. Plots are clearly marked by For Sale Signs, which state the price; and often you'll find a picket fence clearly marking out the area of land. Each buildable House is different, and due to the size of Apeville, there will only ever be a limited number of Houses available to buy and build upon.

How do I purchase a plot of Land?

You'll need to be a member of our Discord Community and an AVAC NFT Holder; this will entitle you to be able to bid in Auctions. Land Plots are always auctioned via the Auction channel in our Discord Community. In most cases, these plots will come with a starting price. You can see in the image above that the For Sale Sign also has the starting price attached; meaning that you'll need to have at least this amount of AVAC to be able to bid on this property when it becomes available. Each Plot of Land comes with it's own NFT, marked by the number of the Lot in which it was auctioned. Once you have purchased the plot, you'll then be given the NFT to match it; and this is your ownership Deed.

How do I build the House?

Once you have purchased the Plot of Land, you'll then need to head to the General Store and Buy the following:

• Nails

• Wood (located outside the store)

• Paint

At various parts of the construction, you may need to buy more of these items. To use any of the items mentioned above, you simply drag and drop them from your inventory and onto the construction site when the build asks you for more resources. Each part of the House will be built by saying "Build Part" (and then followed by the number of the Part) in Public Chat. Though the House Pieces will only appear if you have placed down the resources first. Each NFT tied to the plot will tell you the number of Parts and construction type involved.

Step 1:

Go to the General Store and buy Resources, and then place them down at the Building Site; once you have done this say "Build Part 1"

Step 2:

If the Building site asks for more resources, repeat Step 1, and then say "Build Part 2"

Step 3:

Repeat Step 1 & 2, until all of the Parts are correctly assembled in the build.

Step 4:

Once you have constructed all parts of the House, you must then say "Build House" in Public Chat, the construction will then finish and the whole House will be complete and ready for you to enjoy.

Selling your house

You have the Ownership Deed NFT, and at any time you can sell this for $ETH; but doing so will transfer ownership of the property to somebody else. You can also request to use our Auction Channel by Opening a Ticket in Discord, we will then Auction your fully built property for $AVAC On your behalf.
